Lagoon
41
First introduced in 1984,
the Lagoons are boats built with the style and layout
quality that accelerated the popularity of the cruising
catamaran. Designed by the innovative French naval architects Marc
Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prevost, these newer
models (this yacht is from 2004) aim to combine a
spacious interior with good performance both under sail
and engine.
This particular boat has
been in bareboat charter business from about 2005 till
2012. She has been maintained up too high standards by
the company, and is currently right next to me in Bequia,
where she is being maintained by a professional captain.
Believe me, it is way better to have somebody live
aboard to clean and keep an eye on it that it is to
store it in a boat yard. Did I hear insects and
rainwater?
This is a good yacht to
either take into private charter or go cruising with
family, this is the charter version, you might even
convert one of the bedrooms/bathrooms to a large office
space/playroom.
All equipment including
sails and rigging are original, except for and here
is a big p;us: the Genoa which was renewed in 2010!
